Sitech Services, a Dutch industrial technology firm supporting the Chemelot chemical park, needed a better way to monitor highly complex, decades-old equipment across client plants. With hundreds to thousands of assets per site and massive volumes of fine-grain sensor data, the team needed a unified, user-friendly way to visualize condition-based monitoring data and improve user experience. They turned to Grafana, using Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise to help solve this challenge.
Grafana provided Sitech Services with centralized dashboards, annotations, state timeline views, and SSO/team sync capabilities, while Grafana Cloud removed the burden of hosting and support. As a result, Sitech can now monitor hundreds of assets remotely, quickly surface anomalies, and give customers clearer insight into asset health, reliability, availability, throughput, cost, and CO2 emissions. Grafana has helped the team scale its industrial IoT monitoring offering and extend remote analysis and support beyond Chemelot.
