How Opsdis Is Building Custom Monitoring and Observability Solutions for Clients on Grafana Cloud

Opsdis, a Göteborg-based observability consulting company, helps customers modernize monitoring for cloud and containerized environments. One of their clients, Cind, needed a way to move beyond manual, site-by-site troubleshooting and gain real-time visibility into the health of cameras, system processes, and logs across distributed customer locations. Opsdis partnered with Grafana to build a scalable observability approach using Grafana Cloud, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.

Grafana and Opsdis implemented a centralized monitoring solution where Prometheus, Promtail, and exporters collect metrics and logs at each site and send them to Grafana Cloud. This gave Cind a single view across all customer sites, templated dashboards, alerts in Slack, and the ability to query logs and trends centrally for faster troubleshooting and proactive issue detection. The solution now monitors 50+ sites and 6,699 sites being monitored on Grafana Cloud, while reducing infrastructure overhead and giving Cind a foundation it can easily scale further.
