How eCommerce leader Blinkit modernized their logging stack with Grafana Cloud

Blinkit, the instant grocery-and-essentials delivery company serving millions across India, was struggling with a costly and hard-to-manage self-hosted ELK logging stack as it scaled. Developers were spending too much time keeping the system running instead of improving products, and Blinkit needed a more efficient observability approach. Grafana and Grafana Cloud Logs were already part of its stack alongside Grafana dashboards and Prometheus metrics.

Blinkit replaced Elastic with Grafana Loki and later moved to Grafana Cloud Logs to centralize logs and metrics in one place. With Grafana, the company now ingests up to 60TB of log data each month, uses logs as a key monitoring source alongside Prometheus, and enables more than 200 engineers to build dashboards and monitor services faster. Grafana helped Blinkit reduce maintenance overhead, improve checkout reliability, and gain a fuller real-time observability picture as it continues to scale.
