Envafors, a Danish multi-utility company, faced challenges in managing the growing complexity of its heating networks as it added new heat pumps and connections. To maintain reliable and clean heat delivery amid volatile energy markets, it needed a system-level view of its operations. Envafors partnered with Gradyent to implement its Digital Twin solution.

Gradyent created a live, digital replica of the physical heating systems for Envafors's networks in Slagelse and Korsør. The solution provides operators with optimal control recommendations and has led to a potential 9°C reduction in forward temperatures for one network and an estimated 1.1% reduction in heat production. Gradyent's SaaS-based Digital Twin is central to Envafors's strategy for maximizing efficiency as it continues to grow.
