FourBlock is a nonprofit that helps service members, veterans and military spouses transition to meaningful civilian careers through a 10-week Career Readiness Program and a growing alumni network. After ten years of programs, participants and partners asked for a single, easy-to-navigate online hub to replace fragmented emails, PDFs and invites — a platform that would truly foster relationships across cohorts, alumni, instructors and employers.

FourBlock chose the Community platform to create FourBlock Connect, organizing cohorts, a running feed, an opt-in directory, mentorship tools, job boards, group chats, Zoom-integrated sessions and Salesforce-driven alumni transitions. The result: seamless employer access and a successful hire sourced through the directory, strong engagement metrics (rising posts/likes, repeat visits, no profile deletions), and continued support for positive alumni outcomes across FourBlock’s 3,000+ community (88% remain employed one year after program exit).
