'Iolani School, a highly ranked K–12 in Honolulu with about 240 graduates a year and a reachable alumni base of roughly 11,000, had never run a Giving Day despite a large, engaged community. For their first-ever campaign they set an ambitious goal of 1,863 gifts—honoring the school's founding year.

Using the GradAdvance platform and volunteer support, the school not only met but dramatically surpassed its goal: 4,000 gifts (about 115% more than target) and $1.6 million raised, including 250 gifts in one lunch hour (over four gifts per minute). The streamlined execution boosted alumni engagement and loyalty, and plans for a second Giving Day are already underway.
