While 2020 was a challenging year for live sport, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) reacted quickly to a reshaped production environment, adapting its workflows in order to continue delivering for its fans

UFC partnered with Grabyo to keep delivering digital content during the disruption of 2020, when live sport production was heavily affected and on-site crews were limited. To support its global fanbase, UFC needed a faster, more flexible way to create and distribute highlights, clips, and live programming across multiple regions and languages.

Using Grabyo Studio and Grabyo Producer, along with LiveU integration and remote contribution features, UFC moved much of its workflow to the cloud and launched new live formats like Quick Hits on Facebook. Grabyo helped UFC produce content in real time with minimal crew, and the results were strong: Quick Hits reached 20 shows, 72.5M video views, 26.7M minutes watched, and 121M impressions, while UFC reported a more agile and efficient digital content workflow.
