Univision News, the leading media company serving Hispanic America, wanted to launch a social-first Spanish-language live news show optimized for mobile audiences and distributed across major social platforms. To do this, Univision used Grabyo’s cloud-based tools, including Grabyo Producer, to create and deliver “JANIOT: PM” in multiple aspect ratios and formats.
With Grabyo, Univision launched “JANIOT: PM” across Facebook Watch, Instagram TV, Twitter/Periscope, YouTube, and UnivisionNoticias.com, tailoring the stream for vertical, square, landscape, and live viewing. The show became the first Spanish-speaking news program on Instagram TV in the U.S. and generated 1.5 million views in its first five months, building a strong engaged audience across the U.S.
