The Television Academy doubles down on digital content for 72nd Emmy Awards with Grabyo

The Television Academy needed a way to deliver the 72nd Emmy Awards digitally during a unique, fully virtual event in 2020, while reaching its global audience across platforms and devices. To support this challenge, the Academy worked with Grabyo, using its cloud video platform to manage live, remote, and pre-taped content for the first-ever virtual Emmys.

Grabyo helped The Television Academy clip, brand, and publish near-live highlights from the telecast to social media and the website in broadcast quality, with automated closed captions and remote collaboration built in.
