NLL delivers live interactive Watch Party format to ESPN+ using Grabyo

National Lacrosse League (NLL) wanted to grow its fanbase and create a more engaging live viewing experience, so it launched an interactive alternate broadcast called the NLL Watch Party. Working with Grabyo and Grabyo Producer, NLL aimed to add guest appearances, social interaction, and live fan comments to an ESPN+ and TSN+ presentation without disrupting its existing workflow.

Grabyo enabled NLL to produce the show remotely using only existing equipment and laptops, with a live feed ingested and switched through Grabyo Producer and talent brought in via Producer Guest. The production team also used Grabyo’s clipping/editing tools and Flowics integration for highlights and fan moderation, delivering the format seamlessly with no new equipment or travel required for crew or guests.
