MotoGP™, the global motorcycle racing series, wanted to grow its digital fanbase and better engage younger, digital-first audiences across social and live channels. To support this shift, MotoGP partnered with Grabyo and used its video production and publishing tools, including Live Producer and mobile editing features, to create social-first content from race weekends.
With Grabyo, MotoGP published live streams and real-time race video on social media, produced Instagram Stories from mobile-friendly vertical footage, and launched pre-race live shows with behind-the-scenes interviews. The results were record-breaking: MotoGP grew its digital fanbase to more than 22 million, generated over 1 billion video views in the 2017 season, and delivered more than 380 million engagements, while also using Twitter Amplify for sponsored in-stream moments.
