A Grabyo Case Study
Grupo América partnered with Grabyo to enhance its live coverage of the 2019 Copa America. The challenge was to extend Radio La Red’s traditional radio format into a social-first experience that could reach a larger audience on Facebook and YouTube, while also creating new ways to engage football fans and support the promotion of its mobile app.
Using Grabyo’s cloud video platform, Grupo América and Radio La Red produced “visual radio” broadcasts with branded graphics, live stats via Flowics integration, fan comments, and pre-roll bumpers for sponsors. Grabyo also enabled monetization through YouTube advertising and ContentID integration. The broadcasts generated over 3.1 million views on YouTube and opened up new revenue opportunities for the broadcaster.
