BuzzFeed News wanted to launch “AM to DM,” a daily live morning show on Twitter Live, and needed a flexible, broadcast-quality production workflow built for social audiences. To meet that challenge, BuzzFeed News turned to Grabyo and used Grabyo Producer, Grabyo’s browser-based live production suite, to manage the show.
Grabyo provided a cloud-based solution with multiple live inputs, pre-recorded assets, real-time comments, polls, data, graphics, and upgraded high-fidelity streaming with redundant infrastructure across North America and Europe. The result was a cost-effective alternative to traditional broadcast infrastructure that enabled BuzzFeed News to produce a social-first live news program with television-level production values and real-time audience engagement on Twitter Live.
