Australian Open, through Tennis Australia, needed a way to increase reach and engagement with its global audience during the 2023 tournament by delivering live and on-demand video quickly across social and digital channels from up to 33 courts. The team turned to Grabyo and its cloud-native live video production platform, including Grabyo Studio, to capture and publish more of the tournament story in real time.

Using Grabyo, Tennis Australia could record every minute of action in the cloud, clip and publish from anywhere, and restream its main broadcast feed to multiple digital destinations without the overhead of traditional hardware workflows. The result was a major reduction in time to publish from up to an hour to seconds, first-to-market social delivery, and more than 2,200 clips published during the 2022 tournament, including a viral YouTube Shorts clip that generated over 75 million views.
