Lifespan Physician Group, a multi-specialty medical practice in Rhode Island, wanted to educate more doctors in its hospital system about the value of realistic 3D printed medical models for surgical planning. The results included more efficient surgeries, less bleeding and anesthesia, and measurable time savings such as over an hour of operative time saved in a nasal reconstruction case, all while improving individualized patient care.
