A GPS to Go Case Study
Monarch Beverage Company, an Indianapolis beer and wine wholesaler that delivers about 16 million cases per year across roughly 80–90 local routes plus bulk freight, was suffering from “Data Obesity” — too much unfiltered telematics data, poor integration with existing systems, and human-error in data handling. To tackle this, Monarch engaged GPS to Go and adopted GPS to Go’s Geotab solution, including Geotab GO6 units, to rethink what data they collected and how it integrated with their operations.
GPS to Go implemented the Geotab GO6 telematics across 120 delivery and bulk vehicles and built a strategy around data integration, integrity (passive GPS), and mobile access. As a result, Monarch gained readable, actionable insights, significantly reduced fleet maintenance costs, and improved the development, monitoring and improvement of KPIs and metrics across their operations. GPS to Go’s solution made data usable rather than paralyzing, enabling better operational decisions.
