Grand Canyon West, the resort at the Grand Canyon offering attractions like the Skywalk and Hualapai River Runners, needed to keep international visitors connected in a remote area with poor cell service and to leverage a recent investment in 81 Cisco Meraki access points. To meet both IT and marketing goals — seamless cloud-managed integration with new hardware and rapid customer database building — the resort partnered with GoZone Wifi and its guest engagement and venue intelligence platform.

GoZone Wifi implemented a cloud-managed guest engagement solution tied into the 81 Meraki APs, going live in a matter of days and eliminating guest WiFi complaints. The deployment enabled email marketing and referral programs and produced measurable results: over 127,000 customer records collected (112,533 at Grand Canyon West), more than 75% of those contacts were previously unknown, and the resort gained clear ROI and ongoing opportunities to drive referrals, reviews, and repeat visits.
