Tabernacle, NJ (pop. 6,950) relied on paper forms and Excel spreadsheets to record, track, and report new business registrations and certifications, which led to illegible or incomplete applications, lost submissions, and time-consuming manual data entry. To modernize these processes, Tabernacle turned to GovPilot and deployed its cloud-based Business Registration module (alongside Animal Licensing and Open Records Requests).
GovPilot implemented a digital registration form on Tabernacle’s homepage with required fields, automated alerts, cloud storage, and automated fee calculations, eliminating illegible forms and misplaced files. As a result, GovPilot enabled 100% completion enforcement, zero submissions lost, and the approval of 116 business registrations, while freeing staff time for higher-level tasks.
