Camden County, NJ incorporates e-Government into Mosquito Prevention Initiative

Camden County, NJ faced the public-health challenge of Zika and needed an easy way for residents to report mosquito problems and access prevention information. The county partnered with GovPilot, using GovPilot’s web-based Management Platform and a templated “Report a Mosquito Issue in Your Town” digital form to expand its online mosquito-prevention resources.

GovPilot implemented a mobile- and desktop-accessible form built from a user-friendly template and integrated it into an automated workflow: submissions trigger notifications to the Camden County Mosquito Commission and confirmation emails to residents, centralizing reports and enabling 24/7 access. By deploying GovPilot’s e-government tool, Camden County improved tracking, sped up response times, and increased transparency in handling mosquito-related complaints to bolster its Zika prevention efforts.
