The Borough of Atlantic Highlands, NJ partnered with GovPilot to modernize citizen services and make it easier for residents to report non-emergency issues and access municipal information 24/7. Facing the challenge of improving constituent engagement and streamlining issue reporting for things like missing street signs and troublesome trees, the borough adopted GovPilot’s digital Report a Concern form, the GovAlert mobile app, and a GIS map.
GovPilot implemented three integrated solutions—an online Report a Concern form, the GovAlert iOS/Android app, and a color-coded GIS map—that automate routing, send confirmation and resolution alerts, and provide accessible civic data. As a result, residents now have round-the-clock access to services, can report concerns “in the time it takes to send a text message,” and receive automated updates, while the borough benefits from faster, more transparent issue tracking through GovPilot’s platform.
