A GovPilot Case Study
The Borough of Atlantic Highlands, NJ faced time-consuming, paper-based property records, limited storage, and poor cross-department access that hindered service delivery. Business Administrator Dwayne Harris sought a cloud-based solution and in 2014 the borough deployed GovPilot to digitize property records and municipal workflows, including online forms and a replacement for their prior GIS.
GovPilot provided a cloud platform pre-loaded with assessment and ownership data, digital forms for 24/7 resident submissions, and an easy-to-use mapping/workflow replacement for the borough’s legacy GIS. As a result, Atlantic Highlands eliminated much paper processing, removed redundant data entry, freed up staff resources, increased public self‑service (reducing inbound traffic), and dramatically sped up access and processing of licenses and applications.
