Moorestown, NJ faced the challenge of modernizing traditional town operations to improve resident access to information and streamline government processes. To meet that need the township adopted GovPilot’s government management platform, using GovPilot’s GIS mapping and digital forms to bring services online and make municipal data more accessible.
GovPilot implemented a public GIS map, online digital forms (including a 200 ft. search request and a “Report a Concern” form with an automated backend) and is automating Open Records and Vacant Property Registration. As a result, residents gain 24/7 access to property information, can file requests from home, and reported issues are routed and addressed more quickly — improvements GovPilot says will help Moorestown exceed its productivity goals for 2017.
