A GovOS Case Study
San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) is a nonprofit agency in San Diego that supports roughly 30,000 people with developmental disabilities. Faced with labor-intensive, triplicate paper enrollment forms for Individual Program Plans and costly delays when field staff forgot paperwork, SDRC needed a mobile, compliant way to collect signatures and reduce overhead—an issue that was costing the agency up to about $75,000 a year.
In 2019 SDRC adopted GovOS digital forms and eSignatures, equipping social workers with iPads and pre-populated mobile forms. Submissions are emailed instantly and routed to records, eliminating manual scanning and lost mail, freeing support staff, and improving client experience. Today three form types are digitized, more than 600 submissions occur monthly, 400+ social workers use the system, and SDRC has cut roughly $75,000 in annual costs while expanding rollout across its field staff.
