The City of O'Fallon, IL, a mid-sized St. Louis-area community (~32,290 residents), faced time-consuming, paper-based workflows across Parks & Rec, City Clerk, HR and IT—manual PDF submissions, interoffice routing and approvals—that slowed service delivery and became especially problematic when staff shifted to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
O'Fallon implemented GovOS Application Studio to build online forms, automated routing and approvals, attach supporting documents, and create HR evaluations and IT checklists, while empowering staff to create their own workflows. The change eliminated much of the paperwork and manual data entry, sped interdepartmental communication, shortened licensing and processing times, and improved the city’s ability to serve residents and businesses remotely.
