A GovOS Case Study
The City of Grand Junction’s Information Technology Division, represented by Systems/Network Analyst Carol Collins, was working to move municipal services away from paper. The city faced inefficiencies capturing signatures, delivering and tracking forms, and managing permit applications that required printing, filing, emailing or in-person handling—processes that were slow, hard to track and resisted by some staff during changeover.
Grand Junction implemented SeamlessDocs/SeamlessGov to provide online forms with signature capture, payment and attachment capabilities, automated delivery and approval routing, and centralized storage. After staff training and phased deployment the city has processed more than 9,000 submissions, sped up permit approvals with email notifications, achieved reliable signature attribution and easier retrieval of records, and improved the experience for both employees and residents.
