A GovOS Case Study
Franklin Township’s IT department, led by Director Justin Heyman, needed to modernize a broad public-facing portfolio — website, cable and radio stations, social media and dozens of paper forms — to meet rising citizen expectations and the Mayor and Township Manager’s push to go paperless. Many internal processes were antiquated and inefficient, creating a poor online experience for residents.
The township adopted SeamlessGov (SeamlessDocs), which deployed quickly and with active vendor partnership. Using fast form conversion, conditionals and file-upload features, the township automated workflows (for example, centralized photo submissions for the Trails Committee contest and a flexible capital request form that handles 1–20+ items). The result: fewer manual steps, faster processing, better citizen service and broad internal adoption of online forms.
