A GovOS Case Study
The Borough of Somerville, NJ, led by long-time technology coordinator Paul Allena, faced aging, paper-based systems that made routine municipal transactions slow and inefficient. With a goal of modernizing their third website revision and saving citizens’ time, Somerville needed a way to move forms and workflows online while maintaining reliable remote support and departmental buy‑in.
Somerville implemented SeamlessGov’s SeamlessDocs to convert and build customizable, interactive online forms, backed by responsive phone and success‑manager support. The rollout was quick, enabled paperless processes (from inspections to closings), reduced manual handling and lost paperwork, improved service quality and convenience for residents, and proved the concept for further expansion.
