A GovOS Case Study
Ingham County, Michigan, led by Deputy Controller Timothy Dolehanty, faced slow, paper-based workflows that created delays and inefficiencies: routine travel requests required signatures from six departments and FOIA requests had to be filed in person, tying up staff time and complicating internal processes.
By adopting SeamlessGov’s electronic forms and routing, the county digitized workflows so travel approvals now take about 15 minutes, FOIA can be submitted online, and submissions can be exported to spreadsheets. The change improved efficiency, record security and internal training, and staff now recommend starting with a simple form and scaling up.
