Ferndale adopted SeamlessGov (formerly SeamlessDocs) to digitize forms and payments; implementation was straightforward, staff quickly embraced the system, and the city piloted online parking permits so residents can apply, upload documentation, and pay without visiting city hall. The platform’s reporting and digital submission features cut paper handling, increased online engagement, and provided data to iterate and improve services.
