A major public transit authority needed to shift its organizational culture to make safety a top priority for employees at all levels. They partnered with gothamCulture, which conducted a mixed-methods organizational culture assessment using the Denison Organizational Culture Survey (DOCS), along with interviews and focus groups, to gain insight into the current culture and identify areas for change.

gothamCulture analyzed the data and established four teams to focus on senior leadership alignment, leadership development, organizational processes, and safety culture. A tailored leadership development program was delivered to virtually all employees, supplemented by individualized coaching for senior leaders.
