Theta, a New Zealand-owned IT consultancy, needed a reliable expense management system for a government client with changing staff, complex business rules, and advanced integration needs. Gorilla Expense implemented an on-premise, Microsoft stack-based expense management solution with customization, APIs for real-time integration, and line-level approvals. The result was a robust system that met the client’s needs and created more than NZD $1.2m in licensing and implementation revenue, plus over NZD $0.3m in Theta consulting revenue; the phased project also generated ongoing revenue and set the stage for future automation and invoicing capabilities.
