A Gorilla Expense Case Study

Instant InfoSystems - Customer Case Study

Instant InfoSystems, a technology company based in Torrance, California, was struggling with a manual, paper-based expense reporting process. Expense reports had to be printed, routed for multiple approvals, and then passed to Accounting and Finance, which caused delays, disorganized or lost receipts, and made it difficult to reconcile corporate credit card statements and close the books on time. To solve this, the company evaluated several T&E automation vendors and selected Gorilla Expense.

With Gorilla Expense, Instant InfoSystems automated expense reporting through mobile and web apps, electronic approval routing, ERP integration, and automatic import of American Express card data. The new process improved employee adoption, sped up approvals and reconciliation, reduced paper handling, and helped Accounting manage data digitally. Gorilla Expense says the implementation enabled IIS to reconcile corporate credit card statements within a few days after the statement end date, while also delivering better compliance, faster processing, and significant time savings.
