Town of Irondequoit - Customer Case Study

The Town of Irondequoit, just outside Rochester, New York, needed to address deteriorating decks at Camp Eastman, where renters had reported chipped paint, protruding nails, and warped boards. With summer camps and the town’s longtime Oktoberfest celebration approaching, the customer needed a fast solution. Gordian helped the town use ezIQC, its Job Order Contracting procurement option, to complete the work on a tight timeline.

Using Gordian’s ezIQC through the Town of Greece’s cooperative contract, Irondequoit was able to move quickly without the delays of traditional bid packages. The Pike Company replaced four exterior decks, refinished flooring, installed new vinyl flooring, and completed other repairs for just under $59,000. Gordian’s approach helped the town avoid schedule delays, keep events uninterrupted, and deliver a better Camp Eastman experience for residents and visitors.
