A Gordian Case Study

Town of Greece Streetlights Installation

The Town of Greece in Monroe County, New York, needed to add street lighting to a mile-long residential road that was already under construction. Concerned that a traditional bid process would delay the milling, paving, and sidewalk work already underway, the town looked for a faster procurement option from Gordian, using ezIQC job order contracting.

Gordian’s ezIQC solution enabled the town to move forward without disrupting the construction schedule. By coordinating with other crews, the contractor installed conduit, light poles, and LED fixtures alongside the road project, saving the town 8 months and helping complete all work in one construction season. The project cost was $268,429.24, and town safety improved.
