Tampa International Airport Improves Customer Experience

Tampa International Airport, operated by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, needed to complete a new Common Use Self-Service (CUSS) facility to improve the traveler check-in, bag-drop, and ticketing experience. To keep the project on schedule, the airport authority turned to Gordian’s ezIQC cooperative purchasing solution and local contractor network.

Using Gordian’s ezIQC, Schiff Construction quickly delivered the work needed for the CUSS buildout, including ticketing counters, baggage scales, stanchion lines, repacking tables, nine self-service kiosks, and the supporting power infrastructure. As a result, the new CUSS opened on its planned date, helping streamline travel for thousands of customers at Tampa International Airport.
