A Gordian Case Study
The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), a major public housing authority, was struggling to efficiently utilize its grant funding to complete necessary repairs and maintenance for its nearly 3,000 residential units. This inefficiency resulted in only 10 to 15 projects being finished each year, jeopardizing funding and failing to meet resident needs. To address this, LACDA turned to Gordian's Job Order Contracting (JOC) solution.
By implementing Gordian's JOC program, LACDA dramatically streamlined its procurement and project delivery processes. This solution enabled a 400% increase in project throughput, growing from 15 to 60 projects completed annually. Gordian's tool helped LACDA maximize its funding, achieve full ADA compliance, maintain a 99% occupancy rate and earn High Performer status from HUD consistently since 2011.
