A Gordian Case Study
Erie School District in Pennsylvania needed to quickly assemble a 30’ x 60’ greenhouse stored on-site and ready for use before the school year began. The project was funded by a grant and intended to support the district’s culinary arts and floral design programs, but the tight summer timeline required a fast-track procurement and construction approach. Gordian’s ezIQC cooperative purchasing process was used to help move the project forward efficiently.
With Gordian’s support, the district held a Joint Scope Meeting, received a detailed price proposal and construction schedule, and added concrete and site work to the scope as needed. The greenhouse assembly was completed in August for $91,605, on time and on budget, allowing students to begin using it for hands-on learning when school resumed.
