Gordian's solution involved conducting detailed facility condition assessments on 228 buildings in a phased approach, providing the city with comprehensive data on asset conditions, ages, and lifecycles. As a result, the City of Mississauga gained the objective data needed to run funding scenarios, prioritize projects, and create defensible capital plans. The program provided increased visibility into its portfolio, which has a replacement value of over CAD $2 billion, enabling accurate long-term capital forecasting and budget development.
