The Scottish Council on Archives, a body overseeing Scotland's archival collections, needed a new online database to make its vast archives easily searchable and accessible to the public. Gooii developed a custom WordPress website integrated with an Elasticsearch database. Their solution used PHP and Clojure coding to create a streamlined, intuitive search interface that draws data from the national Archives Hub. This powerful, user-friendly platform successfully transformed how researchers and the public access and explore Scotland's rich archival heritage.
