A Google For Work Maps Case Study

Preview of the Tixsee Case Study

Tixsee’s immersive ticket-buying website for the Dallas Mavericks, built using Google Maps APIs

Tixsee, a Dallas-based fan-experience technology company, partnered with the Dallas Mavericks to solve a key challenge: make online ticket buying as immersive and informative as attending a game. The Mavericks wanted fans to take virtual tours of the American Airlines Center, see precise 360º seat views, browse the team store, and easily find directions and parking — all with familiar, reliable map controls.

Tixsee used the Google Maps Street View service and Maps APIs to build a web platform (and mobile apps in development) powered by more than 12,400 images turned into 1,000+ HD panoramas, plus a CMS that embeds Street View for promotions and campaigns. The result: 34% of tour users begin ticket shopping, average session length is 6:18 with more than 10 page views (campaigns increased visits to 11.5 and time to over 11 minutes), improved purchase conversion, and dependable uptime backed by Google’s 99.9% SLA.
