Echelon Insights, a predictive analytics firm, needed a faster and more affordable way to understand the Republican primary electorate, including which candidates voters supported and what drove Donald Trump’s appeal. To answer these questions, the company turned to Google Surveys and its online/mobile polling platform.
Using Google Surveys, Echelon Insights quickly fielded post-debate polls, gaining deeper insight into voter ideologies and candidate preferences. The results showed Trump leading at 32% ahead of Jeb Bush at 13%, with 50% of Trump supporters citing his authenticity and outspokenness; Echelon Insights said Google Surveys delivered faster releases, lower research costs, and accurate, detailed analysis.
