Technology drives wellness goals further at CTA

The Consumer Technology Association, producer of CES and representing over 2,200 consumer tech companies, wanted to expand its employee wellness program but lacked the right tools: past step challenges required manual entry and didn’t engage a broad range of fitness levels. To modernize tracking and participation, CTA partnered with Google Fitbit and adopted Fitbit Health Solutions, alongside on-site amenities like a 24/7 gym and fresh fruit to promote a culture of well‑being.

Google Fitbit used Fitbit Health Solutions to automate tracking and run more frequent, data-driven step challenges—starting with conservative goals (about 7,000 steps) and gradually increasing them. The program raised engagement (82% participation), increased challenge frequency from annual to monthly, produced an average of 9.5 miles walked per day since in‑house treadmills were installed, and helped CTA win a SmartCEO Healthiest Company Award, demonstrating measurable improvements in employee wellness.
