They partnered with Google for Education and used Google Cloud's Speech-to-Text API to build this tool within a constrained 20-week timeline.

Using Google Cloud's Speech-to-Text and Diff Match Patch APIs, the students developed the Speech Prep Pal app, which transcribes a user's speech and compares it to their script to provide an accuracy percentage and feedback. The solution from Google for Education provided comprehensive documentation and community support, enabling the team to successfully build a functional app that helps speakers practice and improve their performance.
