The Jesuits’ Schools support its student education in digital skills with Chromebooks

Jesuits, a network of 68 coeducational charter schools in Spain, wanted to modernize learning for 75,000 students and better support 21st-century digital skills. Their existing computer lab model was costly, hard to manage, and inefficient for sharing materials between students and teachers, so they partnered with Google for Education and began introducing Chromebooks along with Google Apps and Google Classroom.

Google for Education helped three Jesuits schools roll out a cloud-based learning model through teacher training, digital lesson materials, and Chromebook deployment. The schools introduced 247 Chromebooks at Jesuitak, 20 at Colegio San Ignacio, and 70 at Escuela San Jose, resulting in more motivated and collaborative students, stronger digital skills for students and teachers, lower maintenance and license costs, and savings on school supplies and administration.
