Spectrum International School creates a holistic ecosystem for the future with Google for Education

Spectrum International School (SIS), a private international school in Putrajaya, Malaysia, wanted to modernize learning for its diverse student body while staying aligned with Islamic values and meeting privacy and regulatory requirements. The school needed a simple, intuitive technology platform that teachers and staff could adopt easily, alongside tools to support digital literacy, collaboration, and safe device management. Google for Education, including Chromebooks and Google Workspace for Education, was selected to help address these needs.

Google for Education helped SIS create a more connected and secure learning environment by deploying Chromebooks managed through Chrome Education Upgrade and using Google Workspace for Education to support classroom collaboration and parent communication. Teachers also used tools like CS First for coding, and the school replaced physical diaries with a “Google Diary” in Google Classroom. The result was faster expansion of digital learning, easier access to resources and training, improved collaboration among teachers, parents, and students, and centralized device control and internet safety management.
