A Google for Education Case Study
Oshkosh Area School District needed a way to provide equitable technology access across all of its schools and better prepare students for modern learning. Working with Google for Education, the district began rolling out Google Workspace for Education and Chromebooks, first to teachers and then to students, to support more personalized, collaborative instruction.
Google for Education helped Oshkosh implement its “Learning Without Limits” initiative with Chromebooks and Google Workspace for Education across grades 3–12, enabling voice, choice, and project-based learning. The results were strong: pass rates in 2014–2015 rose from 75% to 94% in World Literature and from 82% to 97% in English classes that used the new methods, while the district also reported better behavior, higher grades, and improved student engagement.
