LEO Academy transforms learning and teaching with Google for Education

LEO Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust in London with 3,500 pupils across six schools, needed a better way to collaborate, reduce paperwork, and prepare students with the digital skills required for modern learning. With support from Google for Education, the Trust set out to move staff and pupils onto G Suite for Education and introduce Chromebooks in a phased, easy-to-adopt way.

Google for Education implemented G Suite for Education, Google Classroom, and Chromebooks, while also helping the Trust modernize older devices with CloudReady. The result was stronger collaboration, faster feedback on work, improved pupil engagement, and reliable distance learning during school closures. The migration also saved the Trust £48,000 per year, which it is reinvesting into expanding its 1:1 Chromebook programme.
