Case Study: IPEKA achieves better collaboration and greener learning with Google for Education

IPEKA, Building a Collaborative Educational System

IPEKA Christian School, a network of 10 schools in Indonesia serving around 10,000 students and more than 900 teachers, needed a better way to collaborate across locations. The school struggled with limited communication between teachers, students, staff, and parents, while also trying to reduce heavy paper use in line with its Go Green mission. Google for Education helped address these challenges with Chromebooks and Google Workspace for Education.

With Google for Education, IPEKA introduced Chromebooks, Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Google Meet to support real-time collaboration, online assignments, virtual meetings, and easier communication with parents. The result was stronger coordination across the school community, less paper use, and improved teaching efficiency, with IPEKA PLUS BSD becoming the first school in Indonesia named a Google Reference School.
