How Source Central transformed St Thomas More Primary’s teaching and learning experience with the Google for Education platform

St Thomas More Primary School in Melbourne, Australia, needed a better way to stay organised and collaborate across staff and students. As teaching materials and planners became difficult to track, the school turned to Google for Education to help create a more consistent, collaborative learning environment, using tools such as Google Calendar, Docs, Drive, Slides, Classroom, and Chromebooks.

With support from Source Central, St Thomas More Primary School rolled out Google for Education across the school, including a 1:1 Chromebook program for grades 1-6 and later Google Workspace for Education Plus. The result was lower costs, dramatically improved productivity, and stronger engagement with parents and students, including a reported 100% increase in engagement and a 100% increase in student access to up-to-date devices.
