How a mammoth school transformed with Google for Education

Sun Valley International School, a 2,500-student school in India, wanted to create a fully digitised, collaborative learning environment but faced the challenge of getting teachers comfortable with new technology and moving away from manual processes. With support from **Google for Education**, the school looked to modernise teaching and improve digital literacy across staff and students while maintaining affordable, secure education.

**Google for Education** helped the school roll out Google Workspace for Education, Chromebooks, and Chrome Education Upgrade, starting with a pilot in Grade 6 before expanding further. The implementation enabled home learning for 2,000 students during the pandemic, improved collaboration and communication, and increased digital confidence among 100% of teachers who previously could not use technology for education, while also giving the school real-time device and usage insights for faster issue resolution.
